Not only is he the QB of "America's Team", not only is he a 60 million dollar man (with about 20 in guaranteed money), not only does he have a hot girlfriend (Jessica Simpson) and hott ex (Carrie Underwood), but he's also one of the most down to earth, nicest individuals ever! I was watching my daily fixing of sports show and heard a story of Romo paying for a movie ticket for a homeless man. I did some searching and it appears it showed up here:

My personal favorite part was when the man told Romo that he had not showered in five days and Romo said that it's alright because he was used to locker rooms. This is right up there with the time earlier in the season where Romo helped a couple with a flat tire on his way home from the season opener against the Browns. You know sports athletes get a lot of criticism because most casual people only hear about the DUI's, arrests, assaults, drugs, and negative news about them, but in reality only a small portion of athletes ever make news for negative reasons. Sports athletes are some of the most genrous people in the world. Most of their good random deeds never get too mainstream and most athletes prefer it that way. I remember the time when Charles Barkley crashed into a couple's car and to pay them back he bought them a brand new car. I wish more of these stories are put up on the news rather than the bad stuff. It does re-kindle my "faith in mankind". I think I'll do some sort of RAK this weekend.
